    In general this is what we look for
    • Mounds next to structure
    • Standing water
    • High soil
    • Gutters clogged with debris
  • Foliage

    In general this is what we look for
    • Excessive foliage touching structure
    • Tree branches over roof
  • Debris

    In general this is what we look for
    • Branches on roof
    • Debris around the house
  • Wood

    In general this is what we look for
    • Exposed wood
    • Paint peeling
    • Wood rot
    • Form boards left in place
    • Wood pile in contact with structure
    • Wood to ground contact on decks

Interior

  • Plumbing

    In general this is what we look for
    • Leakage
    • Water Damage
    • Wood rot
    • Dirt under sinks
  • Moisture

    In general this is what we look for
    • Ceiling damage
    • Flooring damage
    • Shelving damage
    • Insufficient ventilation in crawlspace or attic

Bugs

  • Wood boring Beetles

    In general this is what we look for
    • 1/32 to 1/16 inch bore holes in wood
    • Flour like wood powder on or under the wood
  • Drywood termites

    In general this is what we look for
    • Swarmer found on windowsill or near lights
    • Discarded wings on windowsills
    • Presences of fecal pellets by "kick holes"
  • Formosan termites

    In general this is what we look for
    • Dirt tubes
    • Wood rot
    • Paper-like material in wood or on the ground
  • Carpenter ants

    In general this is what we look for
    • Dirt Mounds
    • Coarse sawdust by windowsills, hollow core doors, wood to ground contact
    • Fire wood piled in garages or next to structure
  • Carpenter Bee

    In general this is what we look for
    • 1/2 in bore holes in wood
    • Exposed wood
  • Subterranean termites

    In general this is what we look for
    • Dirt tubes
    • Swarmer termite on windowsills or near indoor lights
    • Ticking sound from solders butting heads against gallery walls
